Q: Where do these products come from?

A: We distribute decorative finishes, special effect paints and other building and decorating products from Colorificio San Marco, in Italy.

Q: Are these finishes toxic?

A: No, none of our finishes contain toxic waste and all San Marco’s products are low VOC content.

Q: Are your products certified?

Q: How are these products different than faux finishes?

A: The word "faux" means fake and there is nothing faux about the plasters we apply. Most of all the faux plasters are just a modified paint which requires wax and/or sealers. None of these have the depth, the feel, or the durability of true Italian Plasters.

Q: Can you provide a qualified contractor?

A: We, as a company can recommend you one of our applicators trained in Venice by San Marco, or you can do it yourself- some of the plasters are really easy to apply or you can hire a plasterer to do the job for you. However we do not recommend hiring untrained and inexperienced people for this job.

Q: What if I want to change the finish in the future?

A: In most cases you can just paint over the walls. To change the colour or the texture of the plaster, you just need to apply another coat on the top of existing one.

Q: How much does it cost?

A: Pricing is determined by several factors including the finish selected and what the total square space is. On our initial consult we can measure the walls and give cost estimates based on your space. Please call today for a consultation or if you have any further questions.

Q: Can you apply San Marco decorative finishes on any surface?

A: Yes, you can apply decorative finishes on any surface. The only condition is to primer it first with special product from San Marco known as Decorfond.

A: Yes, we sell all the tools that you need.
